PDX FILMING

FILMING SIGNIFICANT MOTHER IN DOWNTOWN PORTLAND June 8th

I was able to catch up to view some of the filming being done in Portland for the new CW comedy Significant Mother. They have set up their base camp in the Pearl District near Lovejoy and the train station and I believe are filming in that area this week. The production crew for this show is smaller than what is used for GRIMM, so that they can move around to filming locations quicker. I did run into a couple of production crew that I recognized from filming GRIMM. Yesterday I was able to see filming at one of several of their filming locations for the day.

The filming was taking place on NW 9th Avenue near Lovejoy. They had Josh Zuckerman as Nate walking along Jamison Park with actress Mircea Monroe as Annie. Funny enough that with her hat and vest she was carrying off the “Annie Hall” look really well. The scene ended with a lovely kiss.

More in Photos.

Jonathon Silverman was directing this scene. Creator/Producers Richard Keith and Erin Cardillo were also on set.
