Grimm started off this week with having several trucks located in the downtown area near SW Oak and SW 4th Street. They had one whole street lined with their semi trucks and smaller trucks as well. They were still shuttling the actors to their base in NW Portland, but otherwise they were rolling their equipment through 4 different street locations today. They started early around 6:00 am and were on their second location when I caught up to them around 8:00 am. The scene took place on 4th Street near Oak Street. It included Claire Coffee as Adalind with a stroller. There was also another guy actor who spoke with her on the street. She was wheeling the stroller out of a store and towards her car. She then placed the baby seat in the car. The guy actor followed her on the street and they spoke when she was at the car.
She first was rehearsing the scene without her coat and with a baby doll in the stroller. The first filming had her with her coat on and the baby doll in the stroller. After they did this several times they changed the camera to a new angle and then had the real baby in the stroller. It was cute to watch her talking to the real baby during and between the filming. I was told that they are using twins for the new baby on the set. After the filming ended I was able to see the real mom come and take the baby away from the set. First peak at baby GRIMM.
Someone asked by if I was sure it was actually Claire Coffee who was rehearsing. This face leaves no doubt 😉
